I'm not an expert (flattered though ;D) but it's because the developers built games on the 360 first (or so I'm told). The games that were built on the PS3 and then the 360 (e.g. Burnout Paradise) are better on the PS3. So... Yeah, hope that helps :3
Not the best decision on Sony's part, it'll be seen as copying the Wii (like the rumoured 360's Newton). I'd rather see a development on the current standard PS3 controllers, though this does mean buying another controller all over again :<

It seems this pops up straight away without a black screen and then choosing "XMB" from a list of options. I say this because under the Game list on the XMB their seems to be an option to quit the game. If that's correct, this shows it goes straight to XMB. So I wonder where options like disconnecting controllers and the like will go? Maybe you hold it or something? I dunno :3

Can we not use PS1 games from other regions? E.g. I live in Australia, if I use my American account to get Crash Bandicoot 2, will it work?
